Manchester City Council is one of those councils which have not looked at the individual circumstances before applying the bed-room tax. The 100% Labour controlled council, has always been swift to carry out Conservative Government’s wishes, whilst blaming the Government. If it had carried out its duties correctly, it would not put hundreds of tenants through the trauma.

SP eye has posted an update about two council’s responses to letter, victims of the bed-room tax: http://speye.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/bedroom-tax-council-responses-confirm-the-unlawful-practises/. The message is, those who are affected by the bed-room tax, should appeal.

As well as attacking those less fortunate with the ‘bed-room tax’, which Labour councils are too happy to enforce, without carrying out their statutory duties.
