It would appear the United Nations is investigating this Government inhumane policies.

A blog from Friends of the Earth about the fallacies behind ‘fracking’ and the ‘Green Deal’. The Government should be doing more to reduce energy consumption and investing more money into real renewables.
Friends of the Earth: Fracking fallacies, love from Dave: Green Blog.
A blog explaining the negative economical impact ‘fracking’, will possibly have on the UK’s economy.
This post first appeared on the New Statesman blog.
Among the many extravagant claims made by supporters of fracking, perhaps the most absurd is that it will lead to a renaissance in British manufacturing. George Osborne picked up this theme last week when he argued that cheap energy was leading manufacturers to return to the US and he wanted to see this happen in Britain.

This is a disgraceful way for a so-called civilized Government to continue to act. And where are the voices from the opposition, especially the Labour Party?
Who do you believe about the Work Capability Assessment?
Not the government, obviously.
You may have missed this – because it hasn’t been reported widely in the mass media – but a quiet row has been running for several months, concerning the collection and use of medical evidence to support applications for Employment and Support Allowance, the benefit people taking the WCA have applied to receive.
The government – whose spokesman appears to be Employment Minister Mark Hoban rather than Esther McVey, the Minister who is actually responsible for Disabled People – insists that decisions are made after consideration of all medical evidence supplied by claimants, and that they can provide further evidence during the reconsideration process or appeals.
But there is a mountain of evidence that this is a load of bunkum.
Back in 2010, an ex-military claimant, ‘Mrs S’ wrote a damning report on the service at…

Israel’s Propaganda machine going into overdrive.
The Prime Minister’s Office is planning to form, in collaboration with the National Union of Israeli Students, “covert units” within Israel’s seven universities that will engage in online public diplomacy (hasbara).
The students participating in the project, who would post on social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter on Israel’s behalf, will be part of the public diplomacy arm of the PMO, but would not identify themselves as official government representatives.
About a week ago, the outgoing deputy-director general of the Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Ministry, Daniel Seaman, sent a…

We have heard about the environmental problems of ‘fracking’ in the USA and Australia. Now hear of similar problems of Canada, but the UK is still pushing ahead with ‘fracking’, including provide tax-breaks for ‘fracking’.
The bailing out of the failed banks, we were told was a necessity. This was total nonsense, and by bailing out the failed banks, they rewarded failure, incompetence and corruption. And Governments are still bailing these banks out whilst cutting back on providing a welfare state. Even the Co-op Bank, forgot it’s mutual roots and tried to play the ‘Big Bank’ and is also a failed bank. We need to move away from a consumer society that is rapidly consuming its own ability to exist. Dramatic climate change and financial collapse are just around the corner.
Just as with Public Transport, which is supposed to be privatised, they are dependent on substantial tax-payers subsidies. So private companies are able to run services at a minimum cost to themselves, whilst paying themselves high salaries and dividends.
I wrote a week ago about the £3.5m loan that Circle Health had asked for, and obtained, from the government in order to fund a capital investment programme at Hinchingbrooke hospital, the first NHS hospital to be taken over by a private company.
Circle, some of whose major shareholders are substantial contributors to Tory party funds, needed additional funding to carry out their planned investment – and unlike an NHS hospital that couldn’t meet its obligations, it received the requested cash rather than being placed into administration.
That tells its own story. But it turns out that the £3.5m was not the first funding that Circle has requested and received from the government.
In October last year, the health company received an advance of £4 million from the NHS because of ‘cash flow issues’ – on top of a £46m cash injection it asked shareholders to stump up because of its…

A the Conservatives trying to turn us in another State of Israel or a version of apartheid South Africa? Where only a certain class of people are able to walk the streets freely, without fear or intimidation.
Those of us who are lucky enough not to live in London have yet to see the amazing advertising vans that have been conveying instructions to Conservative-leaning voters, to treat with hatred, suspicion and contempt anybody who is not a white, Anglo-Saxon protestant.
It seems clear that these vehicles are intended to promote racism and heighten racial tension, setting British citizens against each other – because the aim is to encourage the suspicion that another person may be an illegal immigrant – in the same way Coalition policy on social security set citizens against each other by pretending it was commonplace for individuals to receive more in benefits than in paid work.
According to the Public Order Act 1986, it is an offence for a person to publish threatening, abusive or insulting material if this is intended to stir up hatred against any group in the UK…

What little democracy we have in the UK, is slowly being removed. Ever since the Norman invasion in 1066, the Anglo-Saxons (not the so-called Anglo-Saxons are and US politicians claim to be) have fought for democracy and equality. Slowly, multinational corporations and their political allies have been turning the clock back to the days of the Witchfinder General.
